So Which Seeds Do I Chose?
The best advice we can give you for your first crop is to grow several different varieties from seed until harvest and then weigh and smoke test each plant individually, then chose the best strain and clone the best plant or plants from within that strain.
Every one of our co-op members cuts clones as part of the Endless Harvest method and will only grow from seed to search for a superior plant to clone. Some are fanatic about it and will grow a few new strains from seed every crop in order to have bragging rights over who has the best plant then share clones from that plant with the group. We will explain cloning in more detail later but clones have the same exact genetics. It is theoretically possible then to have fifty plants from one crop be exact genetic copies of each other.
But unless you have access to other friendly growers or can get seeds from a dispensary or compassion club, you will need to find seeds. Who is the best breeder is up for serious debate. The world famous Cannabis Cup contest happens every year in Amsterdam in order to determine who is best though they are generally more concerned with quality than maximum yield. The two breeders we recommend for quality and consistency are both based in the Netherlands and they are Dutch Passion and Sensi Seeds. Try to get the seeds in their original packaging.
